Where to find your AHL / PIR number?
Your AHL (Airline Handling Label) or PIR (Property Irregularity Report) number is printed on the document given to you at the Baggage Services counter when you reported your missing bag.
  • Printed at the top of the report, usually in a bold barcode area
  • Format: 3-letter airport code + airline code + 5 digits — e.g. MCTWY12345
  • May also appear on a small sticker given to you at the airport desk
  • If you cannot find it, contact us at Arrival Baggage Services — Level 1

What is a PIR?
A Property Irregularity Report is issued when you report missing or damaged baggage. It contains your unique tracking number.
How long does tracing take?
Most bags are located within 24–48 hours. International connections may take up to 5 days.
